Booking and Reservation Policies

Reservation Procedures: Reservations can be made online through our website, via phone, or through our hotel’s reservations email.

Payment Terms: Full payment is required at the time of booking, unless otherwise specified. We accept M-Pesa as a mode of payment.

Cancellation and Refund Policy: Payments made on our website cannot be reversed or refunded. However, you have the flexibility to postpone your stay to a later date, subject to availability, within one month from your booking date. Please reach out to us to reschedule.

Check-in/Check-out: Check-in time is at 12:00 noon on booked date, and check-out time is at 10:00 am on the check-out date. Early check-in and late check-out may be available upon request and subject to availability.

 

Room Rates and Promotions

Room Rates: Our room rates include taxes and service charges. Additional fees may apply for extra services or amenities.

Promotions: From time to time, we may offer special promotions or discounts. Please check our website or contact us directly for more information about current offers.

Rooms accommodate a maximum of 2 people (adults or children).

 

Guest Responsibilities

Guests are expected to behave responsibly and respect other guests and hotel staff.

Any damages to hotel property or disruption of other guests may result in additional charges or eviction from the premises.

Guests must comply with all hotel policies and local laws during their stay.

 

Pets Policy

Pets: Pets are not allowed.

 

Smoking Policy

Non-Smoking Policy: Hotel Topaz is a smoke-free establishment. Smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor areas, including guest rooms, and public spaces.

Violation: Violation of the smoking policy will result in a penalty fee of Ksh. 50,000 paid to Nairobi City County (NCC) and eviction from the hotel premises with the necessary surcharge of maintenance fee to the original state.

 

Security and Safety

Security Measures: We have implemented various security measures to protect our guests and property. However, guests are responsible for safeguarding their personal belongings and valuables. Money or valuables must be declared and deposited at the front desk, as the hotel takes no responsibility for any loss of valuables which are not declared.

Emergency Procedures: In case of emergency, please follow the evacuation procedures and instructions. Emergency contact numbers are available at the front desk.

 

Liability and Disclaimers

Hotel Topaz, its management, owners, directors, shareholders, employees, agents, successors, and assigns shall not accept responsibility or liability for death, injury or losses to guests for any claims whatsoever, including but not limited to responsibility for personal body injury, death, accident, lost, stolen or damaged property, loss of mental or physical enjoyment, delay or inconvenience. The laws of Kenya govern our contract and these terms and conditions. The courts of Kenya shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute in connection with such terms and conditions or use.

 

Privacy and Data Protection

We collect personal data that you voluntarily provide to us. Generally, we collect, use, disclose and process your personal data for purposes connected or relevant to our business or to manage your relationship with us. We may also collect, use, disclose and process your personal data, without your knowledge or consent, where this is required or permitted by law.

If you have given your consent, we may use your personal data for marketing our products and services e.g., informing you of our latest activities, special offers and promotions. For us to market products and services which are of special interest and relevance to you, we may analyse and rely on your overall interaction with us (such as but not limited to your participation in promotions or events and your interactions with us).
